The short version
We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. There are no servers, no accounts, and no tracking.
What data we collect
None. KoloQR does not collect any personal or usage data whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to:
- No personally identifiable information (name, email, address, etc.)
- No content you enter (URLs, text, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials)
- No location data
- No browsing history or activity
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
- No cookies or advertising identifiers
How your input is handled
Everything you type into KoloQR — the text, URL, email, phone number, Wi-Fi details, or social handle used to build your QR code — is processed locally in your browser to render the code. It is never sent to us or to any third party. When you close the popup, that input is gone; nothing is retained on any server.
Works fully offline
KoloQR requires no network connection to function. All code, fonts, and assets are bundled inside the extension. It does not load or execute any remote code.
Permissions
KoloQR requests a single permission:
clipboardWrite— used only to copy the QR code you generated to your clipboard when you choose "Copy to Figma," so you can paste it into your design tools. The extension never reads your clipboard.
Third parties
KoloQR does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with anyone, because no data is collected.
Children's privacy
KoloQR does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Open source
KoloQR is open source. You are welcome to inspect the code to verify exactly how it behaves.
Changes to this policy
